On the ship he discovers [[Adama (TOS)|Adama]]&#039;s wife, [[Ilya]], who had been assumed to have died at the [[Battle of Cimtar|Destruction of the Colonies]]. She had fled on this vessel with several others, in an attempt to catch up to the Fleet, but and one by one each of the survivors had died from a [[Cylons (TOS)|Cylon]] plague.
