'''Edward Mulhare''' (8 April 1923 - 24 May 1997) was an Irish popular television actor from 1956 to 1995.

Mulhare played the [[Beings of Light|Being of Light]] character, [[John]], in the [[Original Series]].

Mulhare also portrayed Devon Miles, mentor to Michael Knight in the television series ''[[w:Knight Rider|Knight Rider]]'', also produced by [[Glen A. Larson]], as well as many other television series guest roles.

Edward Mulhare never married and died in Los Angeles of lung cancer in 1997 at the age of 74.
