Caprica Receiving Station operates much like flight control for ships inbound to Caprica.

The Astral Queen receives DRADIS feeds from Caprica, allowing the Queen to automatically plot FTL jumps. However, feed from this receiving station dies at the onset of the renewed Cylon attack, thus forcing the Queen to jump to the Gemenon Data Processing Complex instead (Battlestar Galactica: Zarek 4).
