Riggs is a Marine who used to serve on Pegasus.
Riggs takes part in a firearms drill conducted by Kendra Shaw, the battlestar's new executive officer. Tasked to assemble his rifle blindfolded and within a limited time, Shaw asks him if he is wiling to bet his life and the life of his comrades on his work. When Riggs nervously affirms, Shaw calmly points his rifle at her chest and orders him to pull the trigger. When Riggs hesitates, Shaw pulls the trigger herself. The rifle just clicks and Shaw shows Riggs that he forgot one part of the firing mechanism, then orders him to repeat the exercise (Razor).
Notes
- Given the basic firearms assembly training shown, it is likely that Riggs is a new recruit.
