Talk:The Oath
From Battlestar Wiki
Wasn't this the episode Kevin Smith was asked to direct?--DrWho42 20:17, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- Reading over the sources again, I can't find any specifics of the episode he was up for. But I might have missed something. -- Serenity 21:02, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- The episode he was approached to direct was episode 418, production number 420, titled "Islanded in a Stream of Stars". He and a few others turned it down, so Edward James Olmos directed that one.-- Mmm...toasty 06:35, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

- You didn't get the last name. I could barely read any of them myself, as always, but the last one was especially difficult because it wasn't familar. However, I was able to decipher the actor's name: Alain Chanoine. I also figured out his character is a marine, but again, due to unfamilarity, I can't tell what the name is. --Mars 19:07, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- Can anyone verify whether Aaron Kelly appears in this episode? I saw him credited on some websites, but don't recall seeing him in the episode (maybe he's only in the extended version?) Ausir 20:02, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm.. is the guy whom Starbuck and Lee find crouching and Lee briefly aims at Kelly? His face isn't shown very clearly, so I'm not sure. I did expect him to shoot Lee in the back, though, and I thought Kelly would join the mutiny, if anything. Ausir
- Probably, but I do know the guy holding his gun left-handed leading the Marine fireteam to get Adama and Tigh is Kelly. For that matter, are we sure Johnson's Lt. is the guy holding Lee hostage?--Colonial Marine NCO 20:45, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm, actually, I'm not that sure about the Lt. It's definitely him in "Disquiet", and here the marine looks similar, but I'm not 100% sure. I'll remove it for now until verification. Ausir 20:58, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Can anyone get a picture of Alain Chanoine? Perhaps he's the "Headshot Marine"? Ausir 18:23, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
- There's one of him at his profile page at TVRage. As you can see he can't be the abovementioned marine. --Mars 07:10, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
Timeline?
Should we include the timeline messages that were included with the show in the act's themsefls? I think they are very relevant. Shane (talk) 17:31, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Most of the mutineers from the Pegasus
The bulk of the mutineers seem to be former Pegasus crew (which isn't actually all that surprising). Should this be noted in the article? ZeldaTheSwordsman 03:49, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
