William Daniels (March 27, 1927) is an American actor who portrayed Norman Blore in the Galactica 1980 episodes "The Night the Cylons Landed, Part I" and "Part II".
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Daniels has portrayed many critical but competent characters in his career and is known for his distinctive voice.
His association with Battlestar creator Glen Larson would land him in co-starring roles in more successful Larson TV series, particularly Knight Rider as the voice of "K.I.T.T", the sentient Knight Industries Two-Thousand "supercar" central computer with a main sensor that (not so curiously) resembles the eye sensor of a Cylon Centurion from Larson's earlier works.
Daniels won an Emmy for his role as Dr. Craig in the 1980's TV medical drama, St. Elsewhere.
Daniels is a past president of the Screen Actors Guild.
