The Loki type heavy cruiser is a lightly armed support ship in service with the Colonial Fleet during the First Cylon War, where two or three of these ships would be assigned to a battlestar group at any given time.
The ships are designed to receive goods and munitions, and transfer them to combat ships underway (Blood & Chrome).

Design
The heavy cruiser features a unique tri-hull design, joined by a massive domed structure on the dorsal side, and an "alligator head" on the front side. The alligator head contain all thirty-five of the ship's guns, with fifteen along the dorsal side, twelve along the ventral side, and four along both the port and starboard sides of the hull. The head also contains two landing bays along the sides of the hull, and communications antennas on the front. The massive tri-hulls contain a combined total of eighty-one cargo holds, and feature movable cranes along the top to assist with the transfer of goods and munitions.

Notes
- The design was created by Richard Livingston.
- The CGI model used for production is labeled Cyclops (FCS-73) [1], which is barely legible in the header image for this article, despite the ship in reference referred as Loki.
- Concept art indicates a length of ~Template:Roundup feet (Template:Roundupm) [2]
